The VacPan II original base board inlet valve made by Plastiflex is a 2 in 1 built in central vacuum inlet valve and an automatic sweeper at the same time. It can be installed on a wall or embeded into a base board moulding at the desired height because it is easily adjustable. All you need to do, is to take out a broom and sweep the dust and debris inside the floor orifice for Vacpan use and let the power and suction of your central vacuum do the rest. No need to bend over and pickup the dirt using a conventional dust pan. And for the second function, when you need to use the central vacuum hose, simply insert the hose in the upper part of the Vacpan 2 to use it as a conventional central vacuum inlet valve.
