The Story Behind SEBO Vacuums

How to Maintain Your Sebo Vacuum Machine

SEBO vacuums machine

One of the great benefits of owning a SEBO vacuum machine is their “famdustrial” (family + industrial) design! The careful design of the power head allows for quick and easy access to the reversible hoses, and clog doors.

The brush-roll release button allows you to remove the end-cap and pull the brush-roll out. The brush-roll is gear-driven, with no exposed belt. This means you never have to change a belt! Once the brush-roll is clear of hair, pop it back in, replace the end-cap, and you’re ready to start using your vacuum machine! The gear mechanism in the powerhead aligns with the brush roll, instead of using a traditional belt. Therefore, the mechanism is protected from getting hair inside.

Worried about clogging? Don’t be! There is a quick access trap door located on the base of all SEBO vacuum machines. A sharp turn in the pipe will catch most clogs. The orange trap door is located just above that turn, which allows for quick and easy access to the location.

If the clog is not in the base, remove the SEBO vacuum hose and reattach backwards. Many SEBO vacuum machines have hoses that are narrower close to the powerhead and wider at the end that connects to the cannister. Therefore, clogs that get caught in the hose have more difficulty being pulled too far into the machine. When a clog is in the hose, it can be reversed and the vacuum machine will suck the clog out on its own!

Finally, if you have any questions on how to maintain your SEBO vacuum machine, see our YouTube video for more information!
