Introducing Windham Fabric!

Vacuums R Us is about to carry Windham Fabric! We will be rolling out selections of Windham Fabrics in the upcoming weeks. Windham Fabrics offer more than 80 collections of cotton fabrics with vintage-inspired and contemporary patterns, prints, and solids. Their cottons, flannels, and novelty fabrications can be used for home decorations, apparel, pet projects, and accessories.

Keep an eye out for more announcements on our Windham Fabric launch! We will have further blog posts on suggested projects for the various fabric lines.

Below is a small selection of some of the fun patterns we have ordered, and our first project: a pair of pajama pants!

We are also introducing a new featured sewing class to make use of the yummy flannels we’ve ordered!

Elastic waist pajama pants

Students will enhance their relationship with sewing while they learn from Michelle how to make their own pair of elastic-waist pajama pants! They will learn tips and tricks for choosing a size from a pattern, cutting out the fabric pieces, sewing seams, hemming the pants, and adding elastic to the waistband.
