Come join us for this Halloween Open Sew event! Altering/making Halloween costumes and accessories can be fantastic, but not everyone has a sewing machine available–or the patience to hand sew. We have plenty of sewing machines available to borrow, a cutting table, rotary cutters, scissors, pins, clips, and plenty of sewing notions you might need!
You can also get some advice from our sewing instructors for fabric selection, sewing techniques, and costume construction.
Participants can bring their own sewing machines if available. Basic sewing skills are recommended but not required. This open sew class is designed to foster creativity, skill-sharing, and a sense of community.
Get ready to sew, create, and have a frightfully good time. Whether you’re dreaming up a classic character, a spooky creature, or a glamorous persona, this open sew class is your opportunity to shine on Halloween night!
