Learn to Sew Open Sew 101 – Boulder

Come join us for this open sew session and bring your own repair/project! This is a perfect time to use some of the techniques you’ve learned, while still being able to receive some personalized guidance and get some help troubleshooting any challenges you might encounter.

Sewing 101-Intro to Sewing Series

Do you want to learn how to alter your own clothes or have some sewing projects you’ve been meaning to start but find the basics a bit daunting? Come join us for this multi-part “Sewing 101” intro to sewing class. Learn the basics like how to get your machine up-and-running, different hems, how to sew buttons and buttonholes, and much more! Come learn the basics of sewing, clothing alteration, learn some new skills, and get some tips and tricks from our sewing instructors!

Everything you need for this class is included. We will provide different items like zippers, buttons, patches, as well as a variety of different fabric swatches to be able to practice what you learn. Different tools and sewing notions will also be available to try out and use during class time.

See something you love during the class? All fabric and sewing notions will be available for 10% off the day of each class for those in attendance.

Feel free to pick and choose which class(es) you are interested in, or come to all of them! Each class is separate, so don’t worry about falling behind if you don’t come to them all.
