Indigenous Peoples Day

In Colorado, the second Monday of October is recognized as Indigenous Peoples Day. In Boulder and Denver, this week is full of celebration of the Indigenous, Native American, American Indian, and First Nations people who first lived on this land. Their long history has frequently been ignored and underrepresented, so this week, many cities have organized education and community discussion events. Check out your local offerings!
