April Machine Embroidery Class- Make a Quilted Potholder!
We are learning a new skill by using an embroidery machine to make this quilted potholder! If you have been curious about learning to quilt, or how to use the quilting designs in your embroidery machine, or just add a new skill to your creative set, this is the class for you! We will learn to build the quilt block in the hoop of our embroidery machine, as well as discuss thread tension, and learn how to add binding to finish the project off.
This class will use both the embroidery and standard sewing functions of an embroidery machine. This is a great opportunity to use up some fabric scraps as well! Bring your own, or let us know to provide fabric for you. This pattern is highly customizable and can be designed to match your own home.
If you are new to machine embroidery, this class is still for you! We will have extra instructors to help make sure that everyone is comfortable, and everyone’s questions are answered.
If you do not have an embroidery machine, do not fear! We have a few machines that we can reserve for those who need them during class. When selecting your ticket, please choose ‘I Need to Borrow a Machine’.
