Kickstart October by making fall favorites: Pumpkin Mug Rugs! Our last machine embroidery class went so well that we are doing it again. We have found a beautiful fall-themed pattern from SweetPea to teach to anyone wanting to further their machine embroidery adventure.

The purchase of a ticket includes the pattern for all four sizes of pumpkin mug rugs, although we will only be making the 5″x7″ in the class. The pattern also includes a full set of photo directions so that you can remember how to do everything once you leave!

We will provide the fabric for the pumpkin mug rug you make in class with us for practice, but once you are home, the pattern is fully customizable! You could make a set that is dark and spooky, or light, bright, and cheery. The joy of learning to make your own home decorations is that you can tweak them exactly to your own style.

You will need to bring your embroidery machine in good, working order (don’t forget your power cord and your 5″x7″ hoop!), small scissors to trim up close (duck bill is our suggestion!), and assorted threads in oranges, greens, and browns. We will send you the embroidery design by email and you should download it to your machine or onto a USB stick.

Vacuum’s R Us will provide you the pattern for your embroidery machine, a fabric kit, and other materials like batting and stabilizer. Come join us for a Saturday of creating!
