In an era marked by tragedy, events like the Marshall fire often seem distant and hard to fathom

But this tore through the center of the community we serve and was so close we tasted it. We do not have the benefit of distance or detachment. This time the people hurt are people we know. Our hearts go out to every one affected by this fire.

We’ve received a lot of calls from people affected by or assisting people affected by the fires. We are actively working to find ways that we can help. The following are a few things we are doing right now. If you know some one affected by the fires please do share this with them.

Tomorrow 1-6-22 12pm – 9pm the Rayback Collective behind our Boulder store will be hosting a free market for fire survivors. People and businesses can donate household goods and furniture for fire survivors to pick up tomorrow.
If you need cleaning supplies we are donating the following to the Free Market and they will be available at the Rayback collective tomorrow:

24 hour Carpet cleaner rental is free to any one affected by the fire until Feb 28th 2022.

From 1-5-22 through 1-19-22 we will ONLY be renting carpet cleaners to people affected by the Marshal fire. We have limited units available and had to tell too many fire survivors that we had none available for them yesterday. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience to our Red Carpet customers and will resume free rentals to Red Carpet customers in the 20th.

Vacuum tune ups will be free to any one affected by the fire until Feb 28th 2022.

Ash and soot is incredibly damaging to vacuums and we have already started receiving calls from people who’s vacuums are starting to have problems due to soot clean up. If your vacuum develops an odor or performance issues after fire clean up we may be able to remove the odor and restore performance with a tune up.
Please note, as of this moment we are just over two weeks out on service. We are doing our best to speed up turn around but service is always performed first come first serve in the order the units are in the queue.

Numerous organizations are taking donations of gift cards.

If you would like to donate a Vacuums R Us gift card to a fire survivor or organization these can be purchased in any denomination in our stores or over our the phone. We are happy to mail them to the organization or individual you would like to donate them to!
