This new Gas Pump Style Handle is ergonomically designed for ease of vacuuming while using the Hide-A-Hose. It does not have an on/off switch in the handle. You turn the suction of the vacuum on and off with the switch on the Hide-A-Hose valve installed in the wall. The Hose slips on right over the tube on the handle. It has a button lock for the wand. If you want to be able to turn the central vacuum unit off from the handle, you will need a different type of handle we sell called the Radio Frequency Handle Kit.
